The origins of the name are obscure. Some claim it stands for ‘Green Utility Vehicle’, others say ‘Grassed Up Van’ and some straw-clutching eccentrics have even suggested ‘Giant Unilamellar Vesicles’. Maybe there’s little truth in all the above...to us The GUV is simply The GUV. The GUV is The GUV is The GUV. Though spectacular in grass-clad appearance, the most important thing about The GUV are its contents. At the wheel of the GUV the Loving Outdoors team will visit festivals and outdoor events all over the country to be on hand with expert technical advice, exclusive offers on outdoor gear, refreshments and friendly chit-chat. If you spot The GUV on your travels make sure you come over and say hi- unless we’re on the motorway in which case a wave will suffice.
