The Loving Outdoors Lowdown...
With their Classic charger, Solio have at last found a use for that big ball of fire in the sky we call 'Sun'. With its propeller-like solar pannels, the Solio Classic is able to convert the sun's rays into useful energy which it then stores in a lithium battery. Once charged, the device can be hooked up to pretty much any electronic device (including iPhones) whereupon it restores said device to optimum function. In real terms, 1 hour's sunshine buys you roughly enough charge for 20 minutes of iPhone talk time or almost an hour of iPod listening. Although Solio products are designed primarily for outdoor use, the Solio Classic is well adapted for use in the home. Its distinctive design is able to accomodate a suction cup (included) allowing it to be stuck on a window and be used as an ultra-green charging point for domestic appliances.
