How Regatta fabrics work

ATL Water Resistant Treated Leathers

All our waterproof leather styles are specially treated with Atl. This enhances the level of water repellency and also offers stain resistance to help keep footwear clean.

X-ert Performance

Regattas most technical performance range uses premium technologies and the highest quality components. X-ert products are built to wear in true outdoor environments i.e. up the mountain or on the trails. To go the distance they feature hardwearing premium upper materials and authentic performance soles, designed to offer grip on all terrain. Typical X-ert Performance features include:

• Seam sealed waterproof construction

• X-LT lightweight premium upper materials and sole technology

• Ergo contoured footbeds for underfoot cushioning

• X-LT compression moulded phylon midsole for shock absorption

Waterproof Membranes To prevent water reaching your foot, all waterproof styles are fitted with internal waterproof membranes, which sit inside the shoe construction. We have two levels of waterproof membranes - our standard offer and Isotex. Isotex is a waterproof and highly breathable bootee membrane specifically developed for Regatta. It is independently tested to ensure it offers exceptional breathability, windproofing and waterproofness.
