Tap in your destination and it will show you the most fuel economic route to get there, so you can save money and do your bit for the environment. The 3.5 inch touch screen display is completely smooth and user friendly, and the whole thing fits nicely in your pocket. A pin lock anti theft system also means no one can use the device but you.

The Wow Factor:

At 15mm this an ultra thin device that you can use absolutely anywhere. With with full street level mapping for Western Europe (including UK and Ireland) it's a comprehensive unit and it also gives detailed warnings of speed cameras wherever you are, which is handy when you're piling down some deserted back road in Bordeaux! There's also the optional cityXplorer software you can download to use public transport systems in any city.

Garmin has a unique, pan-European speed camera warning system, giving real-time, reliable, and accurate alerts. nüvi 1240 has the location of fixed, average speed, mobile and temporary cameras already built in. New or moved cameras are constantly tracked and the database is updated daily.

Just tap the car icon on your map screen for your exact coordinates, contact details for vehicle recovery services and directions to hospitals, police and petrol stations.
