The Foretrex 401 has an excellent breadcrumb trail feature that lets you retrace your steps, so you'll never get lost. Just turn on the TracBack feature and head back via saved waypoints, and you can store up to 500 along the way. This is a brilliant feature which is great when you're heading off into areas where the are no distinguishable landmarks like desert forest or jungle. I really felt like a commando with this great GPS on my wrist, and you'll be ready to tackle any terrain. Also gives detailed sunrise and sunset times, and fishing information.

The Wow Factor:

You can connect the Foretrex to your computer and track and analyse your routes, store your favourite places, or send data wirelessly to another device. You can also use the Garmin Connect facility to look in depth at your activities.
