The Digi-Troll 5TS features keypad controls with an integrated LCD screen, stainless steel spool, all-white construction, the fastest retrieval rate on the market (250 feet per minute) and a Short-Stop feature that protects the boat from swinging weight. Ability to control up to six downriggers at once from your Humminbird fishfinder with the CannonLink Accessory.

Includes mounting base, low-profile swivel base, and a telescopic brushed stainless steel boom that extends from 24" to 53". Digi-Troll is built tougher and smarter to make you a better angler. The main advantage to running an electric downrigger is when it’s time to bring the weight to the surface. Simply toggle the up switch and walk away – Cannon’s exclusive short stop will automatically stop the lift motor when the weight hits the surface of the water. With manual downriggers, you manually raise the weight by turning a crank handle. Deep water fishing is when you will really appreciate an electric downrigger.

A downrigger is a device used while fishing using the trolling method, which places a lure at the desired depth. A downrigger consists of a three to six-foot horizontal pole which supports a cannonball (large weight) by a steel cable (generally stainless steel). A clip, also known as a "release" attaches a fishing line to the cannonball weight. The bait or lure is attached to the release.
