Technology is becoming ever more mobile, people are surfing the net while sat on the bus and chatting to people on the other side of the world while stood in the queue at the bank. Facebook and Twitter have revolutionised the way we connect with each other, and have become indispensable communication and marketing tools. Surely a shopping experience especially an online one, should keep abreast of these advancements? Well our brand new website does just that, incorporating Facebook  chat, Twitter feeds, customer reviews and related events on a products page, so you can not only see what has been said about the products, but you can interact directly with customers who ‘ve used them, and see comments and thoughts being posted live to the site.

Facebook users can also put their seal of approval on any product by clicking the Like button, which feeds directly into their Facebook live stream. For the Twitter disciples, live tweets go straight into the site, so you can share info and opinions about products and have conversations about your preferences and experiences. We’re hoping this can create a real social aspect to shopping, so our customers can feel like they are getting not only great products, but they can read and see a whole host of information at the click of a mouse, so they don’t have to go searching the web for reviews and opinions.

We won’t be editing or taking down opinions and reviews though (as long as there’s no expletives!), if customers feel a product hasn’t worked out well for them, or even if they think it was complete rubbish, then we welcome the feedback. The manufacturers can then see what’s being said, and improve their designs and products. More importantly our website should become a social network as well as a retail environment, so that customers can get the whole picture, and have a real dialogue with the manufacturers and the world at large.

We reckon our new website sees the birth of a whole new shopping experience- it is a living, breathing, retail world, so whether your walking down the high street or hiking up the side of a mountain, you can connect with customers worldwide to get the buzz about new gadgets and the latest outdoor gear. If Facebook and Twitter aren’t really your cup of tea, then don’t worry, the site is as simple to  use and as slick as any other major online retailer -you won’t find yourself in a chat room conversation when all you wanted was a sleeping bag!

We’ve been working round the clock to bring this brand new site to the world, and with a little help from the awesome web skills of Kelembeck Design and our fantastic developer Steven, we’ve created a great looking site that we’re really excited about, and hopefully our customers will feel the same.
